How are rentals insured?

All trips made through Rentalo are insured under a coverage policy provided by SURA Seguros, one of the best-known insurers in the country.

This means that both the owner and the driver are fully protected against unexpected events that may come up during the rental.

Policy coverage

• Damage to third-party property: up to RD$ 1,000,000
• Damage to or loss of the insured vehicle in an accident: up to 60% of market value
• Total loss from fire or theft: up to 60% of market value
• Family or employment risk (relationship with linked third parties): up to RD$ 50,000
• 24/7 roadside assistance nationwide

This policy is included automatically with every booking, with no extra paperwork.
